Sunrise hike in the peasant autumn

Mahdriedl-Loseggalm, Annaberg-Lungötz (every Monday)

When everyone else is still asleep, we are already on our way: On old alpine paths we head towards Loseggalmen. Arrived just in time, because now the sun peeks over the rugged peaks - a magnificent spectacle. Nature awakens, we enjoy breakfast at the Langfeldhütte - before we continue to the viewpoint Mahdriedl.

Meeting point: 06.00 at the parking lot Donnerkogelbahn

Duration: walking time about 4 hours

The idyllic natural swimming complex is popular with vacation guests and locals alike. With a water surface of 2,000 m², water slide and children's pool, a fun and varied bathing day is guaranteed for small and big water rats.

Museum of local history Gererhof Annaberg in farmer's autumn

Traditional costume, crafts and customs

Every Wednesday from 15.00-16.00 the door of the Gererhof monument farm with its interesting collection of old handicraft objects is open to visitors. A lovingly furnished, 400-year-old hereditary farm with an originally preserved smokehouse. Discover forgotten tools, beautiful old traditional costumes and the related permanent exhibition "From flax to linen". Kumpf collection of the Annaberg-born artist Prof. Gottfried Kumpf, which the artist donated to the local museum.

Guided hike to the Gerzkopf

Gerzkopf, Annaberg-Lungötz (every Friday)

We meet at the parking lot for hikers Vordersbach. From here, the hike is challenging uphill, the hunting lodge forms the entrance to the nature reserve. This is an intact habitat for an extraordinary flora and fauna around the legendary "Schwarze Lacke", a rare high moor. On the grandiose lookout mountain, it is good manners to let the bell ring once at the summit. More information about the Gerzkopf

Generally you should be fit enough for hiking in the mountains. The weekly program is an offer of the Sporthotel Dachstein West for the Farmer's Autumn. The hikes do not necessarily have to be attended by the guest!

All packages are calculated from the room price + package and can be booked in the double room category.
